Our Beginner Burlesque 6-Week Workshop is the perfect way to dip your toes into the dazzling world of burlesque. This fully clothed, no-heels class is all about building confidence, embracing your sassy side, and having a whole lot of fun 💃 ✨ Open to all women, no matter your experience level. 🎉 Here’s what you can expect: ✨ Learn a full beginner routine over 6 weeks, moving at your own pace with guidance and support throughout ✨ Opportunity to perform in our annual show if you’d like (completely optional) ✨ Discover your inner diva and explore your own style in a supportive, encouraging environment 🖤 Sass and Soul is a judgment-free zone We have a strict rule across all classes: zero judgment, maximum fun. This is a safe, inclusive space where all women are welcome — no matter your age, shape, size, or experience level. ✨ Make friends and feel fabulous Connect with other amazing women, build genuine friendships, and leave each class feeling more confident, empowered, and in your body. 👗 What to wear Wear whatever makes you feel good and confident, as long as you can comfortably move in it. Please ensure you read these carefully prior to booking, as refunds are not available for change of mind, missed classes, or scheduling conflicts. Please note: Missed classes cannot be made up or transferred. 👤 Age requirement This workshop is for women aged 17+. ✨ Please note: Each workshop features different choreography. If you attend more than one, you’ll learn something new each time.

Sass and Soul Dance – Adult Dance Class Policy By joining Sass and Soul Dance workshops, classes, or events, you agree to the following: 1. Fees & Bookings Payment is required in advance to secure your place. All fees are non-refundable, except in extreme circumstances at Sass and Soul’s discretion. Requests for refunds or credits must be in writing and are case by case. If Sass and Soul cancels a class, a make-up, credit, or alternative will be offered. 2. Photography & Media Photos/videos may be taken for promotion. By attending you consent unless you opt out in writing. Any shared recordings are for personal practice only and cannot be posted or sold. All choreography and workshop content remain Sass and Soul’s intellectual property. 3. Health & Injuries You must disclose any medical conditions or injuries before class. Participation is at your own risk. By attending, you assume responsibility for any injury or aggravation and release Sass and Soul Dance from liability, except where required by law. If you sustain an injury (inside or outside of dance) and seek medical care, Sass and Soul may require medical clearance before you return. Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, or discomfort. Basic first aid may be provided and emergency services contacted if needed. 4. Behaviour & Conduct Sass and Soul is a safe, inclusive, and respectful space. Harassment, bullying, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated. Participants must follow instructor directions, respect confidentiality, and not attend under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Classes are strictly 18+. 5. Venue & Property Sass and Soul is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged belongings. Any damage to venue or property caused by a participant may be charged to that participant. 6. General Terms Sass and Soul reserves the right to refuse or revoke participation, make final decisions on refunds and operations, and update policies with notice. Personal information is handled in line with Australian privacy laws. Sass and Soul holds public liability insurance. Sass and Soul is not liable for disruptions beyond its control (e.g., disasters, restrictions). Disputes are governed by Queensland law.
